Our Mission

Lena Pope Home's mission is to help create hope, happiness and success for children and families. We provide an effective, comprehensive range of services, including family preservation, counseling, and alternative education to meet the behavioral healthcare needs of children, youth, adults and families.

Children whom we serve have a variety of issues with which they are struggling: depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, drug or alcohol addiction, child traumatic stress, or children who are at-risk for problems such as drug abuse, violence or other delinquent behavior.

Lena Pope Home impacted 20,000 lives in 2009. Children and families are referred to the agency by:
  • The Community
  • Teachers, Counselors, and Administrators in School Districts
  • Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
  • Juvenile Probation Department
  • Texas Youth Commission
  • Mental Health/Mental Retardation Institutions
  • Insurance Companies
