CHA staff members strive to equip students with skills they can implement when resolving conflict.  Social skills are introduced so that students can effectively  express their feelings and thoughts.  Significant time is spent on instilling a sense of respect for self, as well as maintaining a sense of respect for others and the environment.  CHA staff maintains a safe, structured, fair and consistent conduct system so that students may develop a sense of self assurance and learn to accept responsibility for their actions.  The goal is for students to see the value and significance of carrying themselves with dignity and integrity while maintaining a keen awareness of self discipline.
