Mrs. Simmons
has a Master’s degree in School Psychology and Counseling. This is her
second year with Chapel Hill Academy. During the previous school year
she was an Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten. Mrs. Simmons is
passionate about helping students succeed through quality education.
Kathleen Robinson

Mrs.
Robinson has a Master's degree in Gifted Education and a Bachelor's
degree in Education from Texas A & M University. She has been
teaching at the elementary level for over 20 years. During her career
in education, she has taught Kindergarten, First grade, Second
grade and has been a Gifted Education Specialist for K-6th grades.
Mrs. Robinson is certified Elementary Mathematics 1-8, Elementary
Self-Contained 1-8, PK-K, and Gifted and Talented PK-8. Mrs. Robinson
looks forward to challenging her students to grow intellectually and
emotionally, and to see them reach beyond expectations, to become
successful, lifelong learners. Mrs. Robinson serves as the lead
teacher for the Second grade at CHA.

Mrs.
McNeeley teaches Second grade at Chapel Hill Academy. This is her fifth
year in education and her first year at CHA. She has a Bachelor of Arts
in Interdisciplinary Studies from Columbia College and a Master of
Education (Curriculum & Instruction emphasis) from Tarleton State
University. Mrs. McNeeley came to CHA from Monnig Middle School in the
FWISD, where she was Teacher of the Year for the 2007-2008 school
year. She is certified EC-4th, ELA and Reading 4-8, ELA and
Reading 8-12, Special Education EC-12, and ESL.

Robert Ramirez
Second Grade

Mr. Ramirez
has over 10 years of experience in childhood education and over 18
years of experience in behavior management within the classroom and
residential setting. This is his second year at Chapel Hill Academy and
his 10th year working at Lena Pope Home. "I strive to be a positive
influence to the students and staff at Chapel Hill Academy" he states.
Mr. Ramirez' responsibilities include supervising the Instructional
Assistants at CHA. His leadership at CHA is integral to the success of
the students and staff. Mr. Ramirez' personal goals include completing
his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and continuing to
promote the success of our students at Chapel Hill Academy.
